Are you an Electric Motor Design Engineer looking to put your fingerprints on a new technology?Do you enjoy developing new concepts and collaborating with the best and brightest in the industry? Does the thought of leading and developing fellow team members through modeling, analysis, prototyping, and testing of new concepts excite you?
If you answered yes, then let's talk
Who you are:
PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field focusing on Electric Machines
10+ years experience in electric motor design, prototyping and testing; Preferably in several 100kW range of electrified automotive powertrain applications
Design insight about electromagnetic, mechanical and thermal cross-coupling effects
Experience with dynamometer operations
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical subject matter to non-experts
What you will do:
Utilize state of the art simulation techniques and design tools to design, develop and prototype electric drive systems
Responsible for the delivery of technical work packages and entire projects
Manage challenging proposals and quotes that define the strategy of the project while mitigating technical and commercial risks
Take an active role in the professional development of others within the function
