Your future employer, the VTN Group, is a medium-sized company in the field of heat treatment of metals with four plants in Germany.

Since 1950, we have been hardening with great care. Our clients come from the industrial sectors of automotive engineering, medical technology, aerospace, molds, and toolmaking.

For the 2023 training year, we are looking for motivated apprentices for our location in Wilthen to become Materials Testing Technicians (m/f/d) specializing in heat treatment.

What to expect in the apprenticeship:

The regular apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years
You will learn about the composition and properties of different products and materials
You will work closely with colleagues in production and quality assurance
You will assist in the planning, control, and monitoring of heat treatment processes
You will learn about hardening and tempering of metallic workpieces as well as testing materials for their properties
You will create test reports and be responsible for managing and maintaining test documents

What you bring:

You are aiming for at least a good high school diploma or have already successfully completed it
You are interested in mathematics, physics, and chemistry
You have manual dexterity and technical understanding
Curiosity, willingness to learn, and perseverance
