    The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in assisting residents with various daily activities outlined in the service plan. This includes personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and addressing information needs. It requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism to ensure resident and family satisfaction.

    Job Requirements:

    Education:
    • High School diploma required (specific requirements may vary)
    Skills:
    • Basic reading, writing, and English communication skills
    Years of Experience:
    • Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly
    • Previous experience with dementia patients preferred
    License:
    • Not applicable
    Certification:
    • Certification required per state regulations
    • Successful completion of Springhouse's/Arden Courts' training
    Physical Demands:
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Full range of motion for various tasks (washing, dressing, cleaning)
    • Basic health requirements
