Server/bartender - Washington, United States - City Tap House

Description

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
• Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders
• Assist with catering events as needed Requirements:
• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and mixology
• Strong math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
• Familiarity with food safety regulations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
• Proficient in operating POS systems, such as Aloha POS
• Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
