    Supervisor, Home and Community Care at Government of Nunavut

    Working as the Supervisor Home and Community Care, you will be responsible for providing nursing care and support services to enable individuals to stay in their homes and enhance their daily living activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess the status of clients in the Home and Community Care Program.
    • Develop, modify, and implement client care plans.
    • Supervise, train, and manage Home and Community Care staff.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing and five (5) years of nursing experience.
    • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience and related experience in home and community care.
    • Valid driver's license and eligibility to register with RNANTNU.

    This position requires a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

    Official Languages of Nunavut are Inuktut, English, and French. Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.

    Recruitment bonuses and additional premiums are available for full-time permanent nurses.

    An eligibility list may be created for future openings.

    • Priority will be given to Nunavut Inuit under the Priority Hiring Policy.
    • Government of Nunavut employees on probation must obtain written authorization from their deputy head.
    • Candidates with foreign post-secondary education credentials must have them assessed by a Canadian institution.
