    Tax Manager


    Looking for a Tax Leader with a solid tax background needed to work with various entities, including partnerships, S corporations, limited liability companies, and trusts in a Private Company setting.

    Al tax returns are prepared by outside tax firms. This person coordinates all the activity.

    This is a strategic role – looking for leadership, project management, drive, and high energy person who wants challenge, a team atmosphere, and

    work life balance.


    Responsibilities:


    Ascertaining all entities remain current on all tax matters; proactive in planning and liaising with appropriate Third Parties on a pro-active basis.

    Managing tax projects as a key resource.

    Manage process over 250 tax filings consisting of federal partnerships, s corporations, and trusts as well as applicable state returns.

    All returns are prepared by outside tax firms.
    Maintaining/modeling quarterly and yearly projections for various family members, company executives, and family members, and various taxable entities.

    Acting as a resource for the Third-Party tax advisors and legal counsel as well as company executives on specific tax issues and questions.

    Assuming responsibility for smooth flow of tax information to ensure accurate, complete, and timely preparation and delivery of all tax returns
    Creating Vision and Direction regarding opportunities for process improvements.
    Preparing other reports and working on projects as requested from time to time.

    Qualifications

    Ability to perform technical tax reviews and approvals of all tax returns, all of which are prepared by Third Party, as deemed necessary and on own initiative
    Ability to work with Third Parties, as deemed necessary, to assist and manage all federal and state tax examinations and audit defense

    Ability to work as a resource with Third-Party legal counsel and tax advisors to implement estate tax planning for Key people.

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
    Active licensed CPA with 6+ years of tax experience.
    Outgoing personality and desire to work within a team atmosphere.
