For over 90 years, LEEB Flexibles has specialized in the development and production of packaging films for food and technical applications for customers all over the world.

Our portfolio includes all flexible packaging solutions made of plastic, paper, or aluminum. Production takes place in a multi-stage process at our location in Memmingen / Allgäu.

We are currently seeking a commercial employee (m/f/d) for our shipping office to join our team in Elk Grove, CA.


Your responsibilities:


  • Creating and processing shipping documents
  • Planning and recording of goods and pallet returns
  • Checking freight invoices
  • Warehouse output bookings
  • Inventory management in the ITsupported merchandise management system
  • Organizing special trips with fixed carriers
  • Correspondence with internal interfaces and logistics partners
  • Participation in inventories
  • Preparation of documents for customs papers
  • Processing and preparing small shipments for parcel service
  • Evaluating transit times of logistics service providers
  • Supporting the shipping employee during peak times

Your profile:


  • Successfully completed technical or commercial training in the freight forwarding industry or a comparable qualification and several years of professional experience in the shipping department
  • Basic knowledge of a merchandise management system and proficient in MS Office
  • Quality, cost, and resultsoriented thinking and acting
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, flexibility, and resilience
  • Possibly forklift license
