- Perform Opening and Closing Procedures.
- Assist with other Golf job functions as assigned.
- Document maintenance needs on any equipment essential to your job and/or the guest experience and submit to Manager or Supervisor.

- Prepare Morning Set Up.
- Maintain Tee Sheet and Daily Log.
- Monitor and Maintain Course Safety.
- Maintain Course Rules and Regulations, ensure our guests are following proper golf etiquette and appropriately educate guests as needed.
- Monitor Speed of Play.
- Greet and coordinate all tee times and proper flow off of the first tee according to daily tee sheet
- Assure guests are informed of all information necessary to enjoy the golf course
- Issue Walking Carts, review operational use with guest.
- Issue Rental Equipment, as requested.
- Process Return of Rental Equipment.
- Inventory Rental Items.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of practice facility and Lesson areas.
- Ensure all practice areas have ample supply of golf balls for instruction and guest use.
- Accept Returned Walking Carts and rental clubs.
- Maintain Walking Cart and Rental Club Maintenance.
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
- Provide legible communication and directions.
- Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers).
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
- Ability to be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
- Ability to follow directions thoroughly.
- Ability to understand guests service needs.

- High School Diploma.
- Prior Guest Service experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a golf environment preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of the game of golf and basic operation of a golf course preferred.
- Experience in Hospitality Industry in similar position.

The Golf Stewards role at Terranea Resort is an opportunity for a progressive, energetic individual to be integrally involved in the operation of a 9-hole par-3 golf course within the only oceanfront destination resort in Los Angeles. In addition to the 9-holes, a full short-game practice area, and a full stocked Golf House will provide an ideal environment for our guests to enjoy a one of a kind golf experience. The golf operations team will interact and collaborate closely with other recreation and service departments of the resort.
