OBJECTIVE:

Inspects guestrooms to assure cleanliness meets all standards set forth by the Hotel, AAA and Mobil. Ensure adequate staff coverage in areas and or floors of responsibility. Evaluates employee performance and counsel subordinates.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

The work environment is not limited to areas inside the BVR only; it may include other work areas outside the building and/or other public areas.

Work may take place under all weather and climate conditions; i.e., sun, rain, hot, cold, snow, wind and dust, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting.
Assigns rooms to GRAs (Guest Rooms Attendants) to ensure proper floor coverage.
Fills out the Supervisor/Inspector report
Processes manager's and director's reports, and required paperwork to ensure adequate and correct information is passed on to staff members.
Interacts with front office counterparts (supervisors, etc.) in a professional manner.
Responds to all guests and employee calls, and assists with the appropriate job and/or information.
Provides excellent service to internal customers (staff members) and external guests.
Acts as a resource regarding department activities, and operations for immediate managers, Director and all Housekeeping GRAs.
Maintains a working knowledge of all floors, in room furniture, and all other guest services to be able to keep both subordinates and guests well informed.
Performs all duties of Guest Room Attendants as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate in English is strongly desired
Ability to work independently
Ability to read and follow instructions
Ability to use a computer

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

None

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Previous Supervisory experience desired
Housekeeping and or previous cleaning, maintenance experience is preferred
