• Have the professionalism to work with ODOT, OTA, County Offices, Municipalities, and other entities that require utility relocation coordination.
• Review roadway construction plans & survey drawings.
• Provide utility companies and clients with plans, plan revisions and other pertinent information that will culminate in the expedient relocation of the utility's facilities.
• Determine possible conflicts between existing utilities and the roadway construction and develop a relocation plan.
• On-site inspection to verify all utilities within the project extents.
• Attendance of 30% design meeting and prepare reports.
• Preparation of all cost estimates
• Schedule & prepare for field meeting.
• Conduct field meetings.
• Generate & submit Field Meeting Reports.
• Generate preliminary utility relocation plans (CAD).
• Obtain company proposals and relocation agreements.
• Prepare final utility relocation plans (CAD).
• Issue work orders to utility companies.

• Knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
• Knowledge of reading and/or understanding roadway construction plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• The ability to make independent decisions, solve problems, organize, and prioritize.
• The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with utility companies, clients, and co-workers.
• Work well with team and co-workers.
