Located in Orange, California, we are currently seeking an ambitious Field Operations Supervisor (FOS) to join our dynamic team.

Job Duties:

Regular field site visits for auditing and training
Onsite staff training in various services (e.g., asbestos, lead, mold, water testing, etc.)
Team motivation and unity building
Timesheet and scheduling audits
Continued training and development of technicians
Liaison between office and field staff
Participation in performance reviews and disciplinary actions
Onboarding and training of new hires
Quality Assurance and Quality Control of field projects
Environmental Health & Safety compliance

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of industry experience (Environmental/Industrial Hygiene Consulting, Construction, or related field). Experience as a trainer preferred.

Willingness to remain cleanshaven or shave as needed for respirator seal maintenance.
Leadership skills, embodying and portraying A-Tech Consulting's core values.
Continuous development in competency in environmental testing and reporting procedures (e.g., IAQ Assessments, Legionella testing, Radon testing, Construction Monitoring, VOC testing, noise dosimeter monitoring, HAZMAT assessments).
Availability for long hours, including overtime and weekends.
Responsiveness to incoming projects and technician requests.
Valid California Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.

Required Certifications:

Must possess a Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) certification. Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) certification preferred.

Must possess either CDPH Inspector Assessor or Project Manager.
NIOSH 582 equivalency certification to analyze asbestos air PCM samples.

Other Requirements:

Additional industry certifications a plus OSHA 40, HAZWOPER, CMI, CIEC, ICCRC etc.
Must be able to pass an asbestos physical, including a pulmonary function test.

Physical Requirements:

Capability to lift and handle field equipment: 1015 pounds frequently, 2040 pounds moderately, and 40+ pounds occasionally.
Ability to travel extensively and spend prolonged periods in a vehicle.
Willingness to travel to other branches for support.
Regular engagement in conversation, active listening, and frequent use of hands, fingers, and other physical activities.
