- Thursday - Monday (40 hours/week)
- Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday (32 hours/week)
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides a full range of services for individuals dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. Since 1970, PAR has been delivering comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.
BENEFITS:
This entry-level client services position is suitable for individuals with basic counseling skills and/or limited experience. Responsibilities include ensuring the health, safety, and security of assigned clients. Transportation of clients in an approved agency vehicle is also part of the role. Under supervision, providing information and education to clients in group settings may be required. The position demands 24-hour coverage during the designated shift.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
One (1) year of experience in treatment, counseling education, or related field is preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS:
Current Florida driver's license (Class D).
Must be approved by PAR auto insurance carrier to operate PAR vehicles.
Must successfully pass background and fingerprinting checks.
CPR, First Aid, and HIV/AIDS training must be refreshed biennially.
