Talascend is looking for a Forklift/ Heavy Machine Operator in Fontana, CA 3rd shift: 4:00pm- 12:30amPosition Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift/Heavy Machine Operator to join our team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to proficiently operate industrial trucks or heavy machinery within warehouse, storage yards, factories, construction sites, or similar environments.
The ideal candidate will ensure the safe movement of product loads throughout the facility while adhering to operational protocols.Key Responsibilities:
Review product loads for accuracy and ensure their timely and complete delivery. Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and fueling. Weigh materials or products and accurately record weight and other production data on tags or labels. Coordinate with team members to signal the discharge, dumping, or leveling of materials.
Skills Required:
Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a team and solve problems collaboratively. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for optimizing manufacturing and distribution processes.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Valid forklift operator's license is mandatory. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing is essential for this role.
