    Position Purpose & Functions:

    This role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations in a safe and efficient manner to maintain accurate inventory of stock and special order items. The primary objective is to provide timely logistical support to field crews without causing delays to projects or customer satisfaction.

    Tasks include monitoring and coordinating daily warehouse activities to meet the logistical requirements of field crews, managing inventory records using software, handling deliveries, placing orders with suppliers, and ensuring smooth processing of special orders and non-stock items. Additionally, maintaining a well-organized and safe warehouse layout is essential. Providing input to the operations manager on forecasting and improving warehouse efficiencies is also part of the role.

    Driving to job sites for deliveries will be a significant aspect of this position.

    Position Education, Training, & Experience:

    This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid NCDL Class C, and at least two years of warehouse experience. Proficiency in basic math and reading up to college level, familiarity with inventory software and technology, as well as experience with forklifts and other mechanized equipment are necessary. Ideal candidates will possess two years of warehouse experience in the electrical industry, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to foster a positive team environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • This position requires frequent physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Handling weights of 50-100 lbs. occasionally with assistance, 25-50 lbs. frequently, and 10-20 lbs. routinely is expected. Usage of hand tools, mechanized equipment, and ladders is also part of the job.

    Primary Work Site:

    RD Graham Electric Office & Warehouse, located at 8020 Industrial Village Rd, Greensboro, NC, and some driving assignments.
