Training Content:

You will investigate unresolved symptoms of the cardiovascular system, the ear-nose-throat area, and the central and peripheral nervous systems. Using medical equipment, the assistants for functional diagnostics collect data and measurements to aid in diagnosis for treating physicians. This includes people of all ages with various medical symptoms related to the brain, peripheral nervous system, sensory organs, cardiovascular system, and balance or lung function.

The training to become a Medical Technologist for Functional Diagnostics lasts 3 years and takes place in alternating weekly blocks at the vocational school in Nordhausen and directly here on site at Zentralklinik Bad Berka.

A special feature of the training is that the last half of the training year is dedicated to independent preparation for the final exam. During this time, there will be no theoretical or practical training.
