WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Learning the basic manual skills of metal processing
  • Cutting, shaping, applying and connecting metal constructions
  • Mechanical metal processing such as filing, sawing, grinding, welding, drilling, threading
  • Learning different welding techniques
  • Planning tasks based on technical documents
  • Manufacturing metal constructions
  • Production and assembly of individual components using manual and mechanical methods

START OF TRAINING:

DURATION OF TRAINING: 3.5 years. Vocational school takes place on one or two days per week.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
  • Very good qualified secondary school leaving certificate, intermediate school leaving certificate or a comparable school leaving certificate
  • Good academic performance in mathematics, physics and chemistry
  • Accuracy, manual dexterity and good spatial imagination
  • Reliability, willingness to take responsibility and teamwork skills
  • Enjoyment of working with people and technology
  • High resilience
  • Drawing skills
