The Westwood Health Campus in Wesel brings together six different business areas under one roof, all of which focus on providing the best possible care for the people entrusted to us.

These areas include the Evangelical Hospital, the Medical Care Center, senior and nursing facilities, the Visalis Therapy Center Niederrhein, outpatient care, and palliative care.

With over 1,400 employees, the Westwood Health Campus in Wesel and external locations in the region offer a unique network of various healthcare providers, from outpatient to inpatient, providing comprehensive "medicine and care from one source".

To strengthen our palliative care team, we are looking for YOU in full-time or part-time.

In the palliative care department, it is a heartfelt matter for our dedicated palliative care team to provide comprehensive support, treatment, and care to seriously ill and dying people in every phase of their illness, in close collaboration with qualified palliative medicine specialists.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring specialized palliative care for patients with lifelimiting illnesses
Recognizing and addressing physical symptoms and emotional needs, pain and symptom control
Providing advice and support in dealing with the illness, as well as coping with dying and death
Proper and continuous digital nursing documentation
Cooperation and collaboration with all care partners, participation in the palliative network
Regular participation in team meetings, case discussions, and supervision sessions
