Key Responsibilities Include:

Checks eligibility/benefits as needed per state needs
Submits, tracks and completes data entry of authorization requests and maintains timely followup
Obtain eligibility and benefits information for all new opens and the beginning of every new year
Verifies accuracy of payer setup in EMR system
Completes regular audits on authorizations entered in system regularly to maintain quality control
Communicates with billing and operations teams any potential risks
Works and communicates authorization denials, including appeals through the health commission or applicable governing body
Attends meetings with branches as needed

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
