Description

The Painter repairs, maintains and installs finish materials to enhance the cosmetic appearance of the buildings. Individual must possess strong communication skills with a focus on customer service. Job specific duties include but are not limited to; painting, wall patching, cove base, chair rail repair and installation. Painters should also poses skills to install of wall guards and wall protection, corner guards and bumper protection. Individuals should have a strong work ethic with an ability to work independently, with little to no supervision. Painters will be responsible for all facilities that are covered by the Engineering team.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalency

Experience:

Associate Degree from a trade school, or four years in a trade program preferred.
Must be able to measure, cut, drill shape, and paint material.
Knowledge of tool names and proper usage.
Must be able to organize, prioritize, and schedule duties.
Minimum two years painting experience in a commercial, institutional, or industrial environment is required.
Has a successful record of adding value to organizations through the proactive analysis and resolution of potential barriers that may negatively affect the organization.
Demonstrates a record of significantly improving patient experience.
Possesses superior communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment, and be able to effectively direct front and backend work processes and personnel toward a common goal.
