The Travel and Visa Specialist in Springville, UT is responsible for obtaining long-term visas and other necessary travel documents in a timely manner for General Authorities, mission presidents, missionaries, employees, and their dependents who will be residing in a country other than their own.

This role requires the ability to handle a wide range of visa documentation issues in a professional and responsive manner, and involves frequent interaction with Consuls, the Missionary Department, Missionary Training Centers, area presidencies, area offices, General Authorities, and various Church departments.


Key responsibilities include obtaining visas for Church travelers efficiently by developing instruction documents, preparing forms, and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate before submitting to the Consul for visa issuance.

The Travel and Visa Specialist also negotiates with Consuls and their staff on procedures and documentation, and manages visa-related fees worldwide.

They also review the missionary call list prior to issuing calls to identify potential visa concerns.


The role also involves providing individual assistance to missionaries, General Authorities, and other Church travelers to overcome unique challenges related to their destination.

The Travel and Visa Specialist is also responsible for preparing itineraries and hosting Consuls, their staff, and their families during visits to Church offices.

In addition, they handle emergencies and high-profile situations as needed and may be assigned special projects.


The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong commitment to the mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and must be a member with a valid Temple recommend.
