Position Summary:

Our client, a global publisher in Haviland, OH, is seeking a Customer Service Representative (M/F/d) to join their team.

With a rich history of over 100 years, our client is home to a variety of respected and trusted brands and imprints, providing quality content through innovative products and services.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling all customer service and pre-sale/inbound telephone marketing activities. This includes recording and processing orders for books, journals, and related products in a multi-channel environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as the liaison between internal departments and customers, providing general information and addressing inquiries as needed
  • Receive and record telephone orders and subscriptions, providing pricing, availability, and order/issue status to customers
  • Provide additional information on books, including topics, table of contents, page counts, and related titles
  • Respond to customer account inquiries regarding invoices, account balances, and credit status
  • Process claim orders, cancellations, and other customer requests
  • Handle 7590 daily telephone contacts with excellent phone manner and strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problemsolving abilities
  • Familiarity with Excel, Windows, and the Internet is helpful
