    Position: AGE Senior Systems Analyst
    Location: Blue Ash, OH
    Duration: 2 Months

    Job Summary

    The client is looking for a skilled, experienced, and motivated Senior Systems Analyst with expertise in software systems analysis and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness of software systems supporting the aging community.

    Responsibilities

    Requirements Gathering and Analysis

    • Create information systems documentation to identify business and functional requirements.
    • Coordinate activities for requirements gathering and analyze information regarding information technology systems.

    Impact Analysis

    • Perform impact analyses to identify system and process inter-dependencies.
    • Collect and analyze data to provide informed options for decision-making.

    Proposal Development

    • Develop Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation, vendor solution evaluations, and recommendations to meet defined business requirements.

    System Documentation

    • Create Information Technology systems and process flows and flowcharts.
    • Decompose complex processes and develop technical specification documents.
    • Create architecture diagrams detailing the configuration of servers, databases, and network connections for current and future systems models.

    Data Analysis

    • Analyze, model, and interpret data using different tools and techniques.
    • Identify data sources, perform data analysis and data-mapping, and develop and maintain data pipelines.
    • Provide data flow diagrams and document the process.

    Software Development Lifecycle

    • Review and assist in software development lifecycle activities, including feature and project cost, time, and effort estimations.
    • Create user stories, develop test strategies and test cases, and execute tests.

    Testing and Quality Assurance

    • Create or set up test data for performing test scenarios.
    • Execute unit test scripts and assist in executing system test scripts independently.
    • Verify and document unit and system test results to ensure the software is producing desired results.
    • Debug and revise programs when unit and system tests do not produce desired results.
    • Coordinate the execution of feature and system test scripts.
    • Participate in debugging efforts and defect tracking.
    • Create and review test data for performing load testing and regression testing.
    • Develop and maintain a robust automation framework for the creation of automated test scripts and automated test reporting.

    Cloud Platform Setup

    • Hands-on with setting up cloud-based platforms to allow running automated test scripts on web and mobile devices using virtual browsers.

    Performance and Load Testing

    • Design and execute performance and load tests to assess system scalability and performance.
    • Maintain test versioning to ensure test data aligns with testing requirements.

    Innovation and Improvement

    • Take initiative and implement innovative ideas to improve business and software development processes.
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
    • Work collaboratively with the service delivery team to develop project plans and documentation.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education

    • Completion of undergraduate core program coursework in information technology, engineering, or telecommunications.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years of Business Process Analyst/Systems Engineering experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of Software Development experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of Quality Assurance Analyst experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of project/program management or equivalent experience.

    Required Hands-On Experience

    • 10 years in contributing to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from the design phase to the implementation phase of Web Applications.
    • Experience in Sprint Planning and execution with project management principles.
    • Experience in building test automation frameworks.
    • Translating customer requirements into functional requirements for web applications development.
    • Familiarity with micro-services architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
    • 3 years of experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
    • A sound understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience with Standard Query Language (SQL) and producing business reports using SQL reports.

    Technical Skills

    • Technical Documentation skills and the ability to communicate with both non-technical and technical clients (10 years required).
    • Experience in translating customer requirements into functional software requirements (5 years required).
    • Lead role as Business Process Analyst/Systems Engineering (7 years required).
    • Quality Assurance, including test cases creation, documentation, execution, load testing, and performance testing, both manual and automated (5 years required).
    • Experience with Power BI, JIRA, and other business analysis tools (4 years highly desired).
    • Azure DevOps experience (3 years required).
    • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is a nice to have.
    • Experience with test automation tools such as Soap UI and Selenium (4 years highly desired).

    • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

    • Working experience in delivering expected results in unstructured environments.
    • Ability to work productively and effectively independently without significant management oversight.
