Lower Bucks Hospital is a community hospital, serving the Lower Bucks County region with medical, surgical, and emergency care.

Located in historic Bristol, Pennsylvania, the Hospital is well-known for its knowledgeable medical staff, including cardiology, orthopedics, radiology, wound care, and general surgery.

The hospital has more than 200 physicians on staff, as well as another 700 employees.


Responsibilities:

The Program Director is responsible for the oversight of the behavioral health program. In collaboration with Behavioral Health Professionals will participate in the maintenance of high-quality treatment programs.

Assists with the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program and supports the organization's overall mission, philosophy, and goals of the Behavioral Health Services' continuum of care.

Serves as a liaison between Medical Staff and the program.


Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING


  • Must have minimum of two (2) years liaison experience with Behavioral Health Care programs.
  • Must have BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Must have working knowledge of mental health laws and practice standards.
  • Must have knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health treatment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
