WHAT WE OFFER
General Salary Increases - Increases of 3.5% effective December 22, 2024.
Educational Incentive - An educational incentive of 5% for completion of a graduate's degree which is not required.
Bilingual Incentive - Proficiency levels by exam are $.69 per hour (Level I), $1.00 per hour (Level II), or $1.32per hour (Level III).
Physical therapist classification are eligible for certification pay at a rate of $0.80 per hour based on their scheduled work week hours and not to exceed the scheduled work week hours for each qualified certification possessed up to a maximum of three (3) certifications.
Vacation Accrual – New regular, full-time employees shall accrue approximately 14 days of vacation a year for the first 10,400 hours or 5 years of service; vacation accruals increase at 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 20 years of service topping out at 26 days a year and 400 hours of vacation hours banked.
Vacation Redemption – After 14,560 hours of continuous service an employee may elected to "cash in" or redeem up to 80 hours of vacation accrued in the same year after using 80 hours of vacation in the preceding 12 months.
Sick Leave - Full time regular employees accrue 3.08 hours of sick leave per pay period with an advance at hire of 40.04 hours which will be balanced at the completion of 13 bi-weekly pay periods.
Health Plans – Full time employees are afforded a flexible credit allowance for purchasing medical, dental, and/or vision insurance from a group of authorized plans: Tier one for employee only is $502 per biweekly pay period, tier two for employee plus one is $730 per biweekly pay period and tier three for employee plus family is $905 per biweekly pay period.
Flexible Spending Accounts - Choice of participation in the Flexible Spending Accounts which increase spending power through reimbursement of pre-tax dollars for IRS approved dependent care and health care expenses.
Holidays - 12 paid days per year which includes a scheduled floating holiday.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Pediatric Physical therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants, children and adolescents. Must possess strong clinical skill in pediatrics.
Under direction, evaluates referred patients; plans, coordinates resources and administers physical therapy treatment programs for the habilitation and rehabilitation of patients; plans and supervises the clinical skills of staff physical therapists, physical therapy assistant aides, volunteers, and physical therapy students as needed; and performs other related duties as required.

Examples Of DutiesDuties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Examines, evaluates, designs treatment plans to meet the physical and functional needs of patients.
Provide services from newborn to 21 with variety of disorders and conditions that may include but not limited to developmental delays, premature infants, neurological conditions, movement disorders, musculoskeletal disorder and injuries, gait abnormalities, orthopedic conditions, torticollis.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapist, speech therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Provides in-service training.
Supervises the clinical skills of staff therapists.
Participates in the maintenance of departmental equipment and ordering of supplies.
Assists in identifying and prioritizing department needs and overall planning.
Supervises assistants, aides, students, volunteers, and clerical staff in the absence of the supervisor.
Provides patient and family education to assist in the achievement of functional goals.
Participates in improving organizational performance.
Under supervision, develops and implements department programs.
May be asked to participate in specialty clinics such as High Risk infant follow-up clinic.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications
These are entrance requirements to the exam process and assure neither continuance in the process nor placement on an eligible list.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of physical therapy, or proof of equivalency
PLUS
Two (2) years of physical therapy experience; or successful completion of an internship program with the hiring department or an equivalent training program and one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Possession and maintenance of a current valid license as a Physical Therapist issued by the State of California; or must be eligible to apply for and obtain a valid California Physical Therapist License.
Possession and maintenance of a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate by hire date.
Some experience working with pediatric patients.
Live scan fingerprinting clearance may be required prior to appointment.
Must possess the physical ability to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Comprehensive knowledge of:
the principles of human anatomy and physiology; administer various types of physical therapy treatment utilizing manual therapy techniques, exercise, and equipment; departmental processes and procedures; care and maintenance of physical therapy equipment.
Working ability to:
establish effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and co-workers; plan and supervise the work of others; and ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form.
