JOB SUMMARY
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute Picking, Shipping or Receiving
- Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
- Move items to appropriate areas.
- Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
- Utilize safe working habits.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Perform other workrelated tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have specific experience in turret trucks or narrow aisled lifts.
- Heavy standup and sitdown forklift experience required.
- Warehouse experience required.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with MRP/ERP Software preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
- Must be willing to work Day and Night shifts.
- Computer skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
- Must be able to operate forklift, and other Warehouse machinery.
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints / drawings.
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and departments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
- Must be able to work at heights and life up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
