    Description

    The Senior Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PLC/HMI systems and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) for the manufacturing and production processes. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in PLC/HMI programming and VFDs, with a strong background in control systems and automation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, program, and maintain PLC and HMI systems for manufacturing and production equipment.
    • Develop and implement control strategies for VFDs to optimize performance and efficiency.
    • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance on control systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to develop integrated control solutions.
    • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
    • Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production staff on control systems and automation technologies.
    • Participate in the design and implementation of new control systems and upgrades to existing systems.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC/HMI programming and VFD control systems.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
    • Strong understanding of control systems, automation, and industrial network protocols.
    • Experience with various PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and HMI software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition).
    • Knowledge of VFD configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.
