    Job Description :

    GENERAL OVERVIEW:


    Provides service support and preventive maintenance on high end equipment and systems (e.g., accelerators, MRI, CT, etc.) during normal working hours and on-call rotation as required.


    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responds to unscheduled service requests from users by performing initial problem verification, troubleshooting, and problem correction. (35%)
    Completes scheduled maintenance in accordance with PM Inspection and Protocol management plan. Initiates and completes documentation after repair or PM is completed. (35%)
    Assists other technical positions in Clinical Engineering and other departments in the organization as required. (5%)
    Attends service schools, in house training and self-directed study as required on specialized modalities and systems. (5%)
    Performs and/or assists in installation of specialized systems. (10%)
    Interfaces with users, management, and administration as a subject matter expert in specialized modalities. (10%)
    Performs other duties as assigned or required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum
    Graduate from an electronic technical school.
    7-10 years' experience supporting general diagnostic imaging systems.
    1-3 years OEM or hospital experience in higher end modalities.
    Preferred
    Associate's Degree in bio medical or electronic engineering.
