We are seeking experienced
1st
_shift Assembler_**. In this role you will be responsible for both new and rebuilt assemblies.


What's in the job:


  • Perform diversified assembly and erection operations to assemble intricate or large and expensive apparatus, machines or equipment to close tolerances and strict inspection requirements.
  • Assembly procedures usually prescribed and operations are recognized as standard practices.
  • Perform skilled fitting of parts, subassemblies and related units. Complete aligning, adjusting and required secondary machining.

What does it take:


  • HSD/GED; 2+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with overhead bridge cranes and rigging of large parts is required.
  • Must be familiar with assembling techniques, plus experience and knowledge of design and basic mechanical principles.
  • General knowledge of manual machine operation is required.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings.
  • Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Must regularly lift or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
