International Student Advisor/SEVIS Coordinator

About Eastern Washington University:

Job Summary:

Eastern Washington University is currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position International Student Advisor/SEVIS Coordinator in our Global Unit.

Under the oversight of the Executive Director of Global Student Services, this position will advise students while helping them identify academic and engagement opportunities that meet their personal and academic objectives.

This position also processes related forms (paper and electronic), communicates with students, assists in problem resolution throughout the duration of their time at EWU and assists students preparing to return home.

The International Student Advisor is responsible for all SEVIS-related compliance issues for international students. This position acts as a liaison for international students between university offices, student organizations and community organizations.

This position may also assume additional administrative responsibilities as assigned, in a multifunction office for international student outreach and support.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, to include stellar listening abilities and superior written and verbal communication are required for success in this position.
