Description

The Ceramic Shop is growing and we are looking for someone to join our customer service team This person must be great with people and feel comfortable talking on the phone and helping customers resolve web order issues.


Job Duties include:

  • Answering customers questions by suggesting items, lending opinions and providing product information
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers.
  • Resolve issues regarding shipped or pending orders
  • Assist customers with placing orders over the phone
  • Process payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash and store or other credit cards
  • Deal with customer refunds and minor complaints courteously and professionally. Maintains a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting the company's commitment to our customers.
  • Develops product knowledge by reading current vendor literature / websites and pamphlets and attending training classes, if eligible, in order to communicate it to the customer.
  • You are also expected to be available for additional projects as needed and you may be trained in other areas of the business to further your understanding of the Company as a whole.

Working hours:
Full time is 5 days per week Monday

  • Friday. 9am5pm.

Skills and Qualifications:


Team player, Fast Worker, Independent, Product Knowledge, Documentation Skills, Listening, Organized, Multi-tasking, Computer skills a must, Strong Customer Service Skills, Confident Math skills.


Requirements:

Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices / Proficient in verbal and written English language / Computer skills / Knowledge of the art materials market dynamics / Solid communication and interpersonal skills / Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers and management / Telephone etiquette / Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business / Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision / Comprehend and implement our safety material handling requirements / Perform tasks as directed


Pay:
From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
