    Job Summary

    The Senior Manager, Quality Systems will lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control processes within our organization. Drawing upon your extensive experience in quality management, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving quality standards, procedures, and systems across various departments and functions. Your role will involve managing a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the highest level of product and service quality. Key responsibilities include defining quality metrics, conducting audits and inspections, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives, support product development, and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for excellence in quality management.     Essential Responsibilities
    • Establish a Quality System and support system improvements for traceability of all issues throughout the entire product life cycle - design to field
    • Lead quality engineers to track and trend quality issues, analyze scope of risk and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
    • Track status of 8D, Deviation, change management, APQP, Non-Conformance management processes, and establish new improvements and processes within the organization as we scale
    • Work with product safety to support safety case
    • Engage with suppliers on quality issues and corrective actions when required
    • Develop and maintain departmental KPIs and objectives/key results
    • Create 3 year plan and roadmap for scaling Quality
    • Resolve problems by negotiating with internal and external stakeholders with conflicting requirements
    • Teach the organization on quality concepts and the importance of quality
    • Implement quality standards where needed
    • Drive for continuous improvements and stretch Quality targets.
    • Support different teams in cases of customer and partner issues, executing documentation, root cause analysis and corrective actions and verification of effectiveness.
    Skills and Abilities

    Success in this role typically requires the following competencies:
    • Ability to interpret engineering documents, including CAD drawings and wiring diagrams
    • Familiarity with ISO/IATF standards
    • Knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems and its auditing/assessment internal and external
    • Experience in moderation techniques
    • Advanced knowledge in FMEA, Configuration Management, System and Document Management Systems
    • Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members toward achieving common goals.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and feedback clearly and efficiently.
    • Strong decision-making skills to analyze situations, evaluate options, and make timely and informed decisions.
    • Aptitude for identifying problems, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
    • Capacity to think strategically, anticipate future trends, and develop long-term plans to drive organizational success.
    • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and environments.
    • Capability to delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, empowering team members while maintaining accountability.
    • Ability to interface with employees at multiple levels throughout the organization
    Qualifications and Experience

    Candidates most successful in this role typically hold the following qualifications or comparable knowledge or experience:

    Required
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Management
    • Understanding of organizational-wide quality system
    • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations, business, or similar
    • Valid U.S. Driver's License
    • Ability to undergo driving record check
    • Working experience with continuous improvement methods such as 8D, CAPA, Six SIgma
    Desirable
    • Masters degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or Quality
    • ASPICE experience
    • Experience leading an organization through quality certifications such as ISO/IATF
    • Experience with PPAP, APQP activities
    • ASQ certifications
    • Lean Six Sigma certification
    • Experience with autonomous vehicle systems
    Physical Requirements
    • Standard office working conditions which includes but is not limited to:
      • Prolonged sitting
      • Prolonged standing
      • Prolonged computer use
    Travel required - Minimal: 1%-10%

    Salary Range

    $125,500-$150,000 USD
