- Assisting with accounting, audit, or sales tax tasks as assigned
- Set up Sales tax rates by customer profile in company ERP system(s)
- Support accounts receivable and payable as needed.
- Analyze accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Communicate with vendors and customers as needed to investigate and resolve discrepancies in billings and payments.
- Maintain vendor files and reconcile on a monthly basis.
- Assist the department with month-end close processes.
- Obtain sales tax exemption certificates from the customer.
- Enter Fixed Assets and Depreciation rates in ERP system(s)
- Assist with Internal Control and Financial Audit tasks.
- Performing other accounting, audit, or tax duties as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by the department manager.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Organized with attention to detail, proactive, and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in accounts reconciliation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as part of a team.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Minimum of years (3) three years of Accounting Clerk Experience
- Accounting and Finance college courses.
- Tax accounting experience.

Aqua-Chem is looking for a part-time Accounting Clerk who has the education, skills, and ability to perform accounting, audit, and sales tax related assignments under the direction of the Sr.
Schedule:
Part-Time schedule (up to 32 hours/week) during the working hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
