    Description
    Cardiac Anesthesiology opening
    • Albany NY Required to be Echo Board Certified and/or have completed a Cardiac Fellowship Position Details
    • Full time, permanent
    • Well established private practice
    • Largest anesthesia group in the Albany-Troy Saratoga region of Upstate New York.
    • Group has brought on 3 new Cardiac Surgeons and needs Cardiac Anesthesiologists to support them
    • High volume inpatient heart center
    • Schedule: variable 8,10,12 hour shifts
    • Call Schedule: in house call, with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th on call, when in house call they need to stay in the hospital overnight, with post call day off
    • Cases are primarily cardiac and vascular
    • No OB or trauma.
    • Call rotation is 1:5 and 1:8 late coverage.

    Surgical Cases Per Day:
    Cardiac Cases per day- 6-8 cases- Will NOT be required to supervise CRNAs- 6 Cardiac Anesthesiologists in the practice - Patient demographic: primarily adult and geriatric- some child - The physicians provide general and regional anesthesia for a variety of endoscopic, cardiac, orthopedic, pediatric, obstetric, cosmetic, and general surgical procedures

    • Number of Operating Rooms:

    30 Compensation and Benefits:

    • $450,000 and $600,000 per year.
    • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
    • In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
    • Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
