Kidz Harbor, a residential facility for children in the custody of CPS, is looking to expand its team of direct care workers.
Because many of the children we care for have been traumatized, abused, or neglected, the staff at Kidz Harbor make a difference in their lives every day by supervising them during all of their activities.
A loving, nurturing, safe, and familial environment is important to the culture at Kidz Harbor, so we are looking for staff who enjoy being around children and young people, who are willing to prioritize, respond to, and serve the needs of the children on a daily basis, and who are receptive to training and direction for a trust-based relationship with the children.
Job Duties- Supervise children and document all daily activities.
- Assist and train children with basic needs such as hygiene, bedtime, room clean up, education and recreation.
- Responsible for the day to day implementation of the program and ensure the needs of the children are being met in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Provide quality care to stabilize children in transition with CPS
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be able to pass a criminal history background check and drug test
- Must be willing to obtain a fingerprint check
- Must have a valid driver's license
Pay:
$12.00 per hour
