The Carl-Thiem-Klinikum Cottbus is a non-profit GmbH under municipal sponsorship and an academic teaching hospital of the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin. As a renowned clinic with the highest medical standards, it is the largest employer in Cottbus with around 1,200 beds and over 2,500 employees. We have over 200 colleagues from around 40 countries.
At CTK, as a center for specialized care with 22 clinics, 4 institutes, and numerous centers, almost all medical disciplines are available to treat more than inpatient and outpatient patients per year.

In Cottbus, the first state university medicine in Brandenburg is being established. For this purpose, the Carl-Thiem-Klinikum Cottbus is being expanded into a university hospital and transferred to state sponsorship. In the winter semester of 2026/2027, the first students will begin their studies in human medicine at the Innovation Center for University Medicine Cottbus (IUC).

Your responsibilities
  • You will provide basic care for patients of all ages under the guidance and responsibility of nursing professionals
  • You will assist patients with personal hygiene, prepare meals, and help with eating
  • You will support the nursing staff with important diagnostic, therapeutic, and hygienic measures, such as changing dressings or documenting vital
