    Strategic Sourcing Specialist

    Location: Chicago, IL

    Overview:

    We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our North American Strategic Procurement team. The ideal candidate should be a flexible and innovative leader with a strong focus on delivering excellent service, driving continuous improvement, and achieving cost efficiency in a dynamic setting. This position is crucial for ensuring success in the supply chain market within North America.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage complex procurement projects across multiple sites and divisions in the USA and Canada
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for marketing spend categories
    • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers to establish long-term partnerships
    • Analyze market trends to optimize cost and value for marketing expenditures

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of sourcing or procurement experience, preferably in the food industry
    • Collaborate with various departments to align procurement strategies with business objectives
    • Experience in budgeting, market trend analysis, contract negotiations, and contingency planning
    • Ability to set KPIs for supplier performance evaluation and improvement

    Salary and Benefits:

    $70,000 - $100,000 DOE

    Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
