Overview:

We are currently seeking a Crane Operator for our facility located in Waukesha, WI.

As a Crane Operator on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for operating overhead cranes, and utilizing shop math skills to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist Painters by prepping units, operating ovens, and operating the 25ton crane.
  • Assist Final Assemblers with bolted cover assembly, cabinet installation, and throat installation.
  • Determine from the Order Process Sheet what parts need to be kitted for Final Assembly.
This includes assembling kits, unloading/retrieving tanks, and cabinets.

  • Build pallets per specifications and shrink wrap transformers.
  • Operate all material handling equipment such as walkies, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
  • Assist Welders by building covers, leak testing, retrieving tanks/radiators, and crane operation.
  • Serve as a backup to Material Attendants to help unload interplant trucks and deliver materials to Final Assembly

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating overhead cranes
  • Strong shop math skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and focus on safety

You should be proficient in:

  • Excellent Communication Skills

Salary info:
