We are currently seeking a


Student Assistant (m/f/d) in the field of media technology / media art

(part-time, 7.9 hours/week, fixed-term for 12 months)
Compensation will be based on TV-L.

  • We offer the opportunity to gain practical experience in the museum field while studying and preparing for a future career.

Your responsibilities

Your profile

  • Support in the planning and implementation of media technology for exhibition and collection presentations
  • Digitization of analog information carriers under the guidance of the responsible conservator, as well as assisting with documentation of the work steps
  • Support in collection care, such as maintaining the museum database
  • Inventory of objects in terms of conservation and restoration features
  • Review and control of existing digital copies
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in conservation/restoration or a related field, with a focus on media restoration
