    Role Description:

    • Develop full-scale, custom iron anode production processes in collaboration with battery design and equipment teams
    • Characterize and gain a deep understanding of critical material performance through experimentation and analysis to drive process development
    • Document and enhance the process steps needed to produce iron anodes for use in battery assembly and testing
    • Create innovative test methods to assess production quality in real-time
    • Train technicians, process engineers, and scientists on new manufacturing equipment and processes
    • Conduct equipment and process capability studies and implement improvements based on data-driven results
    • Collaborate closely with equipment design engineers and external partners to execute proof of concept and implementation
    • Prioritize safety by applying industry standards to establish efficient and world-class processes

    What you'll bring:

    • 4+ years of process engineering experience in a pilot line or fast-paced manufacturing environment
    • Familiarity with metallurgical techniques, such as powder processing, is a plus
    • Proficiency in statistical methods for process development decisions
    • Demonstrated ability to innovate and engineer technologies from concept to production
    • Experience in creating process, safety, and quality documentation
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
