    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    The R&D Test Engineer is focused on developing design verification and production test systems for newly developed Hach products to ensure they meet their performance, quality, and reliability requirements. The position will perform technical, multi-disciplined tasks to improve manufacturing quality and product performance. This includes activities such as historical data analysis, test design, documentation, and implementation/validation of equipment and process changes.

    In this role, you will:
    • Design, develop and deploy automated production test systems to Manufacturing Operations.
    • Design and develop design verification test systems for new product designs.
    • Participate in creation of test requirements and test strategies.
    • Provide cost and schedule estimates for test systems developed.
    • Ensure test system designs meet testability and reliability criteria.
    • Fabricate test systems as required, while adhering to Hach test system development standard work.
    • Provide test system support to the Operations team by resolving issues and providing training on deployed test systems.
    ARE YOU QUALIFIED?

    The ideal candidate is a talented professional who can develop talent, foster innovation and deliver results. Must have:
    • B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or physical science.
    • 5+ years of experience in hardware (instrument) test system design.
    • Demonstrated experience in common test software tools including National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
    • Demonstrated experience applying statistical principles to analyze data.
    • Experience integrating test system peripherals, such as printers and scanners; working with common data communication methods and devices (e.g. USB, Modbus, RS-485, etc.) and quality and control tools such as pFMEA, Gauge R&R.

    The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

    This job is bonus eligible.
