We are looking for a Spring 2021 INTERIOR DESIGN or INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE Graduate.


Responsibilities:

Designers engage in creating Branded Environments.

They work closely with other project team members to develop effective and innovative solutions for a diverse array of clients.

Specific activities include creating viable conceptual ideas through image boards, articulation of a conceptual direction, sketching and rendering (hand-drawing skills a must & computer), space planning, spatial visualization, color, and finish specification, design intent documentation, construction documents, resource coordination, and supporting client presentations.

Requirements:

• MUST have a BFA/BA/BS degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent
• Creativity, and a desire to be innovative
• Planning skills & Knowledge of ADA
• Strong hand sketching and rendering skills, a must
• Sketchup or 3D Revit modeling skills
• Experience in Auto CAD and/or 3D computer modeling processes, practices, and techniques
• Passionate about the industry, consumer, and style trends
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Desire to work in a professional collaborative creative work environment
• Strong awareness of millwork construction methods, materials and fixtures, lighting, and fundamental merchandising techniques for retail and restaurant design
• Detailoriented, and ability to followthrough on tasks
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to put together a complete set of Construction Drawings
• Desire to collaborate with graphic designers, design development specialists, and architectural designers to complete projects effectively and efficiently
• A desire to work hard and be a "Design'lete" —a crosstrained, leadingedge designer. Like an elite athlete, one who focuses on performing in the big moments. Residence within the Chicago metropolitan area is required for this position.

Pay:
$45, $60,000.00 per year
