    Our law firm is seeking an accomplished Associate Attorney to bolster our Workers' Compensation department. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, representing clients in negotiations, and advocating on behalf of clients in court. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to impactful legal cases and gain invaluable courtroom experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough pre-filing case evaluations in collaboration with supervising attorneys, assessing liability, damages, and potential legal strategies.
    • Lead productive client meetings, ensuring clear communication of legal options, case progress, and client objectives.
    • Prepare and file complaints with meticulous precision, adhering to California legal requirements and procedural rules.
    • Skillfully manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
    • Confidently conduct and defend depositions, eliciting crucial information and preserving evidence for trial.
    • Conduct extensive case-related investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and collaborating with experts.
    • Engage in substantive law and motion practice, drafting persuasive motions, oppositions, and supporting briefs.
    • Assist in trial preparation, meticulously organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and ensuring procedural adherence for successful courtroom advocacy.

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
    • Admission to the California State Bar
    • Demonstrated interest or experience in Personal Injury law
    • Strong legal research and writing skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

    Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
