    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:


    Provides cross-product/cross-technology expertise to the IT Product Lifecycle Management capability teams, provides input on and evaluates solution design and is consulted during release planning (e.g., standards for database design; determination of security standards, access management standards etc.).

    Assesses the current IT PLM environment and develops a future state IT architecture in partnership with Enterprise Architecture.

    Leads evaluation, design and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture that introduces and accelerates new technologies and methodologies to support digital transformation.

    Monitors the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies (Technical Debt) used by the applications and processes, or misalignment with business requirements.

    Engages with the business and teams during ideation and design, guides technology selection, develops architectural artifacts in partnership with lead engineer and dev team(s) and ensure compliance with security, identity and access management, Enterprise Architecture, etc.

    Adheres to policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent technology framework is applied across the capability, maintains awareness and visibility of organizational standards and best practices.

    Partners with IT and business leaders to act as an advisor to strategic planning efforts aligned to organizational priority and vision.

    Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions.

    Supports product managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services, or systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information.

    Partners with other solution architects to provide secure, scalable and adaptable architectural solutions.

    Take full ownership of the technical aspects of the project and work with business stakeholders, internal and external technical teams in delivering the solution.

    Supports and maintain the health of the Enterprise Application Portfolio Management Systems (APM) and CMDB.

    Job Qualifications:

    • 8 years of relevant experience in PLM/CAD/Engineering domain.
    Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering or related field.
    Experience designing, integrating and managing complex IT application solutions for critical business issues in the product development space.
    In-depth knowledge of Cloud environments (Azure Preferred).
    Working experience with Linux and Windows

    Operating.
    Experience with mCAD, eCAD, engineering simulation, PLM software
    Understanding of product development principles, processes, and systems
    Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking and financial analysis.
    Knowledge of architectural design frameworks, integration frameworks and patterns.
    Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent understanding of business complexity, project interdependencies

    and

    managing multiple projects simultaneously.

    Experience with Agile development methodologies (estimate stories, accept stories into delivery increments [sprints] & complete tasks to deliver value to the business).

    Fluent in English (C1).
