Are you looking for a rewarding career working with children with autism? The New England Center for Children is a top special education school in Massachusetts.

Students between the ages of 3 and 22 receive year-round services with the curriculum ranging from basic prerequisite skills for learning, including attention, imitation and self-care, to academic skills, such as reading, math and science.

As students reach the age of 14, emphasis is placed on vocational skills throughout the school and in the community.

School is in session Monday through Friday.

The students receive a combination of individual and group instruction depending on their level of functioning and the skills being taught.

Autism teachers provide direct care and ABA instruction to students in a classroom and/or residential setting. They assist with educational program design, Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) development, and have regular communication with parents and guardians. They are also trained to deescalate challenging behaviors and to always ensure the well-being of our students. Our goal is to improve our students' overall quality of life by working with them to reduce the frequency of problematic behaviors and provide them with the skills needed to promote independence.
