The Credentialing & Compensation Analyst I will support all state and federal requirements for all of our client partners.

This role will require constant client interaction, a "CAN DO" attitude and strong people and organizational skills.

This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person office days required to support events, gifting, and other administrative responsibilities as needed.


This role can primarily be work from home with a minimum of 20+ days in person at your company headquarters located in Pasadena, CA.

These days are dedicated to professional development, events and client support.

Salary - $ $30.00 hourly pay rate to start - Depending on experience.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and writing skills are required.
  • Maintain, prepare and respond to all state and federal information requests for information in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Knowledge of credential requirements, regulations and updates on the credentialing processes in all states as indicated by client's needs
  • Maintains and updates accurate staff credential records in HRIS.
  • Enter and Complete compensation changes in a timely and efficient manner for all clients.-
  • Communicating with the state credentialing agencies directly regarding any credentialing questions or concerns.
  • Monitors any changes and/or additions to state laws when credential requirements change.
  • Implements and maintains communication with employees and supervisors when credentialing action plans are required.
  • Verified employees credentials are valid pre and post hire.
  • Notifies Compensation Analyst II regarding any compensation changes based on gaining or losing a credential.
  • Send monthly notifications to keep employees and their supervisors abreast of their credential expiration dates.-
  • Conducts market analyses for use in job evaluation and recommends appropriate compensation packages.
  • Creates and revises job descriptions and defines core competencies, skills, and educational experience.
  • Analyzes the market to recommend the salary structure adjustment and salary adjustment budgets.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure job descriptions are current with any state licensure requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of credential requirements, regulations and updates on credentialing processes.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers, clients, staff and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining courtesy and professionalism.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fastpaced, multitask environment with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to exercise reasonable judgment without direct supervision while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Federal, state, and municipal privacy laws and the applicability to the daytoday operation of compensation areas.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES PREFERRED:

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), Google Suite, and HRIS database(s).
  • Experience in dealing with state and government agencies.
  • Knowledge of various job evaluation techniques, salary survey practices and methodologies, broad bands, job documentation, the elements of total rewards, and career ladder concepts.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 12 years experience preferably in credentials in an educational setting.
