- Develop quality improvement programs and implement innovative production/manufacturing methods.
- Generate the design and layout for Plant Equipment
- Work and communicate with fabricators and sub-suppliers to achieve optimum and most cost-effective component design
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work effectively with co-workers, subordinates and supervisors and customers.
- Know ASME Code Material specification and appropriate use
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
- The above work will be accomplished in 3D, utilizing SolidWorks software
- Able to participate in a team environment on assigned projects executing process engineering deliverables.
- Develop thorough knowledge of the project scope and schedule as they apply to QA/QC.
- Boiler experience highly preferred but could entertain other HVAC related equipment as an extension.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with emphasis in welding, materials and/or mechanical or industrial disciplines. PhD or licensed PE a positive.
- Five or more years of related experience, in a manufacturing or production environment, including three years of supervisory/management responsibilities.
- Ability to lead in a team-based environment.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Project management skills: ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, in English, to effectively communicate with clients, manufacturers, and co-workers.
- Ability to maintain focus.
- Must be able to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to generate and present design equipment review presentations to both small and large groups.
- Knowledge in MS Office and other MFG. software
- Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals.
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
