The **Cook** is a critical member of our team, preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for up to 250 children and adults every day. The Cook also has responsibility for dishwashing, light kitchen maintenance, and helping to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely every day.

**What youll do**:

Prepare and serve snacks and meals according to daily menu or for special events.

Assist with delivery and storage of groceries and kitchen supplies, including safe temperature of perishables.

Assist with posting menus and menu changes.

Collect and clean dishes according to health and sanitation standards.

Maintain kitchen records as needed.

**Who you are:**

You have at least *one year* of professional cooking experience

You have a valid Food Sanitation Certification or will obtain within three months of hire.

You are adept at communicating effectively both in writing and verbally.

**The details:**

*Location*: Early Childhood Center setting ()

*Schedule*: Full-time, hourly; center is open Mon-Fri, 7:30am-5:30pm; assigned shifts will vary.

*Salary*: Range starts at $15/hr; offers are commensurate with experience.
