This on-site position is responsible for narrating the mission of the organization through all communication channels, the Communications & Administrative Support Coordinator crafts external communications aligning with the mission of the Board.
Both creative and administrative in function, this position blends marketing, social media, communications, community outreach and administrative support into the every day role.
This role serves as overall support to all staff and provides quality customer service to partner guests.Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating community outreach activities for the Board.
- Managing & updating the WDB website & social platforms.
- Creates collateral, when necessary, for distribution to show the Board's impact in the community.
- Arranging & Coordinating public appearances, presentations, and information fairs to increase WDB awareness in the community.
- Arranging logistics for operational meetings such as Board of Directors and Committees.
- Develop & maintain operational calendars and prepare collateral for external site meetings.
- Directing office services such as records, filing, etc. to maintain professional atmosphere.
- Various other office duties such as mail, crafting responses, coordinating travel, etc.
- Maintain working knowledge of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, LCWDB strategic plan and its priorities and the CareerLink, its partners and services. (On the job learning)

Pay:
$48, $50,000.00 per year
