Brethren Village Retirement Community, in Lititz, PA, is seeking qualified
RN Clinical Care Coordinators.


The RN Clinical Care Coordinator works collaboratively with other RN's, LPN's, CNA's, the Directors of Nursing, and physicians to monitor and manage Residents' care needs; update Residents' plans of care; provide leadership, oversight, and guidance for assigned staff; and provide direct patient care when needed.


Brethren Village RN Care Coordinators have the opportunity to establish supportive relationships with our Residents; receive on-going clinical skills training; and receive mentoring and guidance from the Director of Nursing and other clinical leaders.

Newly-hired RN's are eligible for a
$1,000 bonus, **paid after successful completion of 3 months of full-time employment; competitive pay rates; generous shift differentials ($3.00 extra per hour on the evening shift, $2.00 extra per hour on the night shift, plus $1.00 extra per hour on weekends); an overtime premium if working over 40 hours in a week.


Current Available Work Schedules:

-
Full-time, benefits-eligible, 37.5 to 40 hours per week: overnight shift

  • Monday through Friday, _or_
- weekdays plus every other weekend (work days will vary a bit from week to week)

Part-time: various part-time schedules are typically available, including weekends only


Core Requirements:

- a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- basic computer skills: the ability to access and navigate web sites, and use software, apps, and databases independently
- the ability to complete online training independently
- dependability: ability and willingness to meet attendance standards
- attention to safety: ability and willingness to consistently work in a safe and alert manner, and to report to work fit for duty; commitment to wearing protective equipment as required for the position and adhering to all health and safety standards
- commitment to treating each Resident, Team Member, and member of the Brethren Village community with respect


Additional Requirements for this Position:

-
valid PA RN credentials:

  • current CPR and First Aid certification
- prior, related nursing experience in a long-term care, rehab., or acute care setting
- professional nursing experience in a leadership, supervisory, or mentoring role
- disease and case management experience
- demonstrated commitment to consistently providing the highest quality clinical care
- ability and willingness to provide effective guidance, coaching, support, and supervision to nurses and CNA's, and to work collaboratively with staff
- the ability to safely transfer Residents, properly using mechanical lifts when necessary; to safely push adult Residents in wheel chairs; to safely assist Residents who may begin to fall
- the ability to quickly and safely assist Residents during emergency evacuations and other emergency situations, and to calmly direct staff
- the ability to remain calm and provide effective care in a fast-paced environment
- thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations
