    The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications.

    We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

    Team IntroJoin the TikTok HR team as an HR Business Partner working with our Trust & Safety teams. This is designed to build trust and confidence in protecting user data and content assurance. We focus on compliance, safety strategies, and moderation for content involving users' private data. You will join a fast-growing company and help shape our TikTok people experience.

    This position will be responsible for employee relations matters, people manager advice and coaching, on/off-boarding, engagement programs, performance management approach, workforce planning, and recruitment support.

    You will help facilitate key employee life-cycle and operational activities in partnership with our business unit, HR, and center of excellence teams.

    To enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department.

    We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change.


    Specifically, you will:

    • Respond to nonroutine inquiries from employees and managers.
    • Consult stakeholders on people matters that require indepth knowledge of policies, procedures, and local legislation.
    • Process ownership for Employee Relations management, including performance improvement and exit management.
    • Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures; partner with Employee Relations and Legal departments to support investigations, as needed.
    • Guide people managers with career conversations, development plans, and other development initiatives.
    • Complete crossfunctional projects and develop programs that improve the employee experience and increase manager capability.
    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, as a Generalist or Human Capital Consultant.
    • Exposure to HR Business Partner processes.
    • Proficiency in MS Suite, HRIS, Workday, and other technology platform tools.
    • Corporate experience in employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and general HR program/operations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Direct experience supporting Trust & Safety, Research Development, Data Scientist, Risk & Response, and/or Product Policy organizational pillars.
    • Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs from the ground up.
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (i.e. Tableau, Exel, Power BI) to extract insights and drive strategic decisionmaking.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
    • Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.

    Job Information
    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $174400 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.

    Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
